1. Conference: A conference is a meeting of several people where they come together as a group to discuss on a particular topic or issues. At a conference ,people bring out their different innovative ideas,suggestions and solutions towards the topic at hand. Most conferences have one or more keynote speakers who will deliver the keynote speech. This might last up to 1 to 5 days depending.

2. Training/Workshop: Training is a significant long-term activity comprising of a series of courses, and usually has a flexible time and budget. It is a program mostly designed to teach or help develop a skill with a particular skill or knowledge while a workshop is a meeting where a group of people engage in intensive discussion and activity on a particular subject or project.

3. Fellowships: Fellowships are short-term opportunities lasting from a few months to several years. They focus on the development of individual called “fellow” and are organized and sponsored by a specific organization seeking to expand leadership in their field.

Grants: A grant is a non-repayable amount of money that a government, organization or foundation give out to individuals or another organization for a particular purpose which can be to support their business,projects etc. In order to receive a grants, aspiring recipients are usually required to submit a proposal or an application to be eligible for the grant.

It is a temporary position.

7. Volunteering: This is a position where by individuals dedicate or commit themselves in offering a particular service or undertake a task for an organization without being paid.

8. Competitions : This is a condition whereby people attempt to gain something or a win a prize by defeating others. Competitions usually requires submissions depending on the competition type such as : video,photography,essay,award and ideas.

Scholarship: Scholarships are financial aid awards designed to help students pay for titution which could be either home or aboard depending on the location of the scholarship or to enable individuals attend conferences or training.
