Biography of Kayode Fayemi, Kayode Fayemi John native of Isan-Ekiti in Oye Local Government of Ekiti State, born 9 February 1965, resigned as the Minister of Solid Minerals Development on May 30 2018. He previously held the office of the Governor of Ekiti State between 2010 and 2014.

Fayemi Went to Christ’s School Ado Ekiti from 1975-1980 and Got his degrees in History, Politics and International Relations From Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria (Formally Universities of Lagos) And the King’s College, University of London, England For his
Doctorate in War Studies, specializing in civil-military relations.
