CBN Head Office Building, The Central Bank Of Nigeria (CBN) (The Intelligent Building) commissioned by His Excellency General Olusegun Obasanjo Rtd. on 30th Oct, 2003. 13-storey office block (including basement), four wings around a sky-lit central atrium.

The gross floor area is about 72,000square meters with office space of about 51,000 square meters which consists of 1,100 square meters in each wing floor. The office space area can accommodate 4,500 staff.

The building has 500 seat Conference Auditorium with adjoining media rooms. The auditorium has a large 5.9m x 5.4m over head projector screen. There is a 3-level car park for 500 staff cars and an additional 360 car park for visitors and Governors. Other ancillary buildings include the Service Block and the Entrance Plaza.

Directions to CBN Headquarters

From Airport
International Airport – Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport . Exit the airport and take the main highway ‘Independence Avenue’ towards the city. Once you arrive at the city centre junction, the Abuja Central Mosque is directly in front of you. At this point take the immediate right on to Tafawa Balewa Way for 1 km until you reach the CBN Headquarters.

From city
From the city centre take the Tafawa Balewa Road for 1km, the Bank is on the right hand side and can be easily seen from the city centre.
