Hameed Ali biography, Wiki, Life History: Hammed Ibrahim Ali is the current Comptroller General of The Nigerian Customs Service. A retired Nigerian Army Colonel. 27 August 2015 was appointed to the Comptroller General by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Hammed Ibrahim Ali assumed the Position of Comptroller General on 27 August 2015 when President Muhammadu Buhari appointed him. Col. Ali was Military Administrator of Kaduna State, Nigeria (August 1996 – August 1998) during the military regime of General Sani Abacha.

He is married with 4 lovely children.

After His retirement, he assumed the office of Secretary of the Arewa Consultative Forum.

Ali stated In June 2006 that the North would regain the presidency.

He supported Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s comments to the effect that president Olusegun Obasanjo would honour his pledge to vacate office in 2007.
