1 cup (226 grams) unsalted butter, softened
1 and 1/2 cups (300 grams) granulated sugar
4 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 and 3/4 cups (330 grams) cake flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup (240 milliliters) whole milk, buttermilk can also be used

Procedures of Mixing a cake are as follows

1. Get a bowl, put your sugar and butter into it and start creaming it by stirring the both together make sure your sugar dissolves every well in the butter before you stop.

2. Break your eggs in another bowl or plate and keep it one side.

3. Get your flour in another bowl, add your milk, a little pinch of salt, vanilla flavours, nutmeg and baking powder, mix them all very well.

4. The next step to start pouring your flour mixture into the bowl that has the sugar and butter do this gently and also adding your eggs into and mixture.

5. Continue to do this until you are through and satisfied with the texture of the cake.

6. Get your cakes tins of any shape and put your cake mixture into it. Note, you have to rub butter on your cake tins so that your cake after baking will not stick to it when removing it from the cake tin.

7. Now, you gently place your cake tins into your oven for about 2 hours and finally after that your cake is ready to be eaten.
